Mrs. Lorna Arnoldy

Hello! My name is Lorna Arnoldy. I was raised in Presho and graduated from LHS, a Raider for all my life. I went to SDSU and BHSU for my undergraduate program of Early Childhood Education/Elementary Education graduating in 1987. My first teaching job was at St. Joe's Indian School in Chamberlain in the first grade. I taught there for three years. I married Mike Arnoldy in 1988 and we have two girls, Raegan and Andee. I began teaching a combination grade 1-2 in Kennebec in 1990. I have been teaching here in Lyman ever since mainly in the first grade. In 2002 I completed my Masters in Instruction/Curriculum with an Emphasis in Reading and in 2003 I completed my Reading Recovery training. I became the Title I Coordinator/Curriculum Director in 2007.
