"The ability to communicate is everything….. good communication skills are the foundation for academic, literacy and social success"- unknown
I grew up in Pierre, SD. I graduated from T.F. Riggs High School (Pierre) in 1993. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders from Northern State University in 1997, and my Master of Arts in Speech Language Pathology from the University of South Dakota in 2014.
This is my nineteenth year as a Speech Therapist. I have been traveling the Lyman roads for sixteen wonderful years. I travel between Presho, Kennebec and Lower Brule. As a Speech Therapist, I provide speech and language services to children (birth-21) in Lyman County. I am responsible for screening, evaluating, diagnosing and treating children who may have delays in Articulation, Fluency, Voice, Receptive Language and Expressive Language including syntax, semantics and pragmatics.
When I’m not providing speech and language therapy, I love spending time with friends and family-my husband Jon, my son Tate (11) and daughter Sadie (5). I also enjoy shopping, crafts and playing hand bells.
