Update to Track Schedule:
Platte Track Meet for Saturday (4/22) has been postponed.
Lyman HS Track plans to attend the Wall Track Meet (4/24)
Field Events start at 9:00 MT/Running Events start at 11:00 MT

Updates to Track Schedule-
HS Track in Wall (Thursday) has been moved to Monday. Time frames the same.
MS Track in Platte is still a go (Thursday) with a change of start time. FE 12:00pm /Running Events 2:30.
There are possible changes coming to other events as weather may play a factor for Friday and Saturday as well.

Tuesday 4/18-
This information is regarding students at the Kennebec site: students will leave at 2:25 to come over to Presho for the Student Council and NHS Play. If you plan to check out your student early that day, just reminding you that they will be in Presho after 2:25. Busses should run close to normal time at the end of the day; all leaving from Presho.

If you haven't got tickets for Tuesday Night's dinner and a show, there are still a few tickets left!!!
You can call the Presho office to get some.
Meal served at 6:00pm
This is a NHS/Student Council event.

Friday 4/14- Golf at the Elks has been postponed to 4/27.
Tuesday 4/18- Golf at Wall; their course will not be ready. Currently working on the next plan. Dates and location pending. We will release information when we get it.

Friday/Saturday- Band Dinners 6:00pm (Kennebec Gym), Please reserve your spots by calling the front office in Presho or Kennebec.
Track and Golf Meets will be having some changes to them as everyone is struggling to have fields and areas prepared. Thanks for your patience and stay tooned.

Lyman Elementary Parents: With the warmer weather, our playgrounds are getting to be sloppy. We ask that you please send an extra pair of clothes (socks, pants, shirt) in case your child falls and gets soaked. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your child's teacher.

Due to the continued Blizzard Warning, Lyman Schools will be closed tomorrow, April 5th. Stay safe...spring is coming!

Monday- Wrestling Banquet remains today, 5:30 Start.
Tuesday- MS Track @ Kadoka is postponed- They are looking for new dates
Tuesday- NHS Induction will be move to April 12th @ 5:30 meal, followed by induction.
Wednesday- Lyman MS Acalympics will be postponed to a later date.
Wednesday- FFA CDE @ Philip is postponed for April 12th.
Thursday- Lyman Rise All Star game is still planned at this time; 7:00pm Start in the Gardens
Friday- No School
Reminder; There is school Monday April 10th.

Due to the Blizzard Warning posted for tomorrow, Lyman Schools will be closed Friday, March 31. Prom plans for Saturday are still on as scheduled. Hang in there, Spring is coming!


Lyman Elementary Parents: Lately we have noticed an increase in lice cases in the building. Please take a moment to check your child and treat accordingly. We also plan to spot check for lice next week and will be in contact with parents as needed. Please feel free and contact the school with questions.

Due to expected weather for tomorrow, Lyman Band will not be traveling to Huron to play at the State Basketball Tournament.

Attention to the scheduled tutor day on Friday March 10th for the middle school and high school. All students are welcome to come, but students that are on the ICU list, deficiency list, missing work, or have been requested to come in by their teacher(s) are required to attend. Parents will be contacted this week that are needed. We will dismiss students at 12:30 and run our routes at that time.

JAG students & Parents,
Students competing in the JAG South Dakota Career Development conference will leave after school on Monday for Mitchell for early check in.
Students not competing or attending the conference will leave at 8:45 Tuesday morning.
All students need to dress in professional or business casual attire, with JAG jacket (no sweatpants or hoodies).
The conference will be held on the campus of Dakota Wesleyan University. Students should return by approximately 6:30 Tuesday evening, with a bus drop off in Lower Brule, Kennebec, and Presho.
