Best and Brightest of 2022 Recognized for Academic Excellence
The best and brightest from the Class of 2022 were recognized for their academic achievements during their high school career.
On Monday (5/9), Governor Kristi Noem and the Associated School Boards of South Dakota (ASBSD) honored students who were identified as the top one percent of their senior class, from the state’s Public, Private and Tribal/BIE schools as part of the 32nd Annual Academic Excellence Recognition event.
Students designated as their high school’s honoree(s) received a certificate, South Dakota pin and the opportunity to meet and have their photo taken with Governor Noem.

Reminder for HS Students:
Monday- Semester tests are periods 1-2-3-4 and normal classes in the afternoon.
Tuesday-normal classes in the morning and semester testing in periods 5-6-7-8.
If you are not required to take semester tests you only need to be there for the normal class periods.

A ton of Thank You’s go out to all that helped run the HS and MS Track Meets. Our events received a ton of compliments on how well things went. This is accomplished by our community, Booster Club, coaches, parents and student help. We couldn’t be more proud. Thanks All.
