The Lyman School is looking for a Head Cook at the Elementary School. The job pays $15 to $18 an hour depending on experience. This is only a 180 day contract. It also comes with all employee benefits. SD Retirement and Insurance benefits.

Good morning Lyman families! Today is the first day of school! Welcome back!! Busses will run the same as last year.
Gary and Mr Herman will run their same Lower Brule routes as last year and will leave the station in West Brule at 7:15 and the Community center at 7:35.
Mr.Tschudy will be running the Vivian/Presho/Kennebec route this year. He will pick up in Vivian at the post office between 7:45-7:50. He will pick up and leave Presho at 8:15.
Any MS/HS students needing to ride to Presho from Kennebec need to meet outside the doors of the Kennebec School by 8:15 and they will ride Mr Johnson’s bus or Ms Hamer’s bus.

Hello Lyman family! Reminder that tonight we have district wide open house from 5 to 7 pm. At 6:30 Mr. Schonebaum will discuss the upcoming year. At 7 pm there will be a Top 20 parent/community training. On Thursday school resumes! There will be another Community Top 20 training from 1230 pm to 345 pm on Thursday!
Middle School Football Equipment Checkout- Monday from 5:30-6:30 at the Football Field in Presho.
Practice will start on the 1st day of school. August 19th.
Good Morning Lyman Family, as we approach the start of school, we wanted to remind you of important dates and changes:
Today is the last day of class registration for high school students. Please come from 11:30 to 3 today.
On Wednesday, we have district wide open house. This starts at 5 and runs until 7. At 6:30 Mr. Schonebaum will hold a meeting for parents in the gymnasium. At 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm we will have TOP 20 Parents in our school gymnasium. Please mark this on your calendar and come if you have a child in our school district.
On Thursday, we have our first day of school. This is a full day of school. Reminder School starts at 8:45 am and dismisses at 3:40 pm.
Friday we have our first home event of the season with a Football Game against Lemmon McIntosh at home.
We are very excited for everyone to come back and be part of a special school year. We will see you all next week!
7th-8th grade volleyball players are invited to attend High School practice starting tomorrow morning at 8:30 am. There will be no activity bus running until the start of school.

There is a fall Sports Meeting for middle school and high school athletes and their parents/guardians at 7:00 pm in the Raider Gym tomorrow evening, Monday July 26th. This would include football, volleyball, cross country, and cheer.
The Lyman School District still has advertising partnerships available in two amounts.
Founding Partner --Gets static signage at concession stand and many other options with video messaging for 1000 a year for 5 years.
Anchor Partner -- Gets static signage under gym video board and many more options for 2500 a year *including potential gameday promotion/recognition.
