You are only allowed to to go the volleyball game in Burke if you were on the list. 4 tickets per household. This is for Elementary/middle school/younger than school age students as well.
9-12 grades students are welcome to come. No ticket needed

Burke is allowing 4 spectators per player household. Masks are mandatory.

Red Ribbon Week -
Red ribbon week was established to honor Enrique Camarena, a drug enforcement office, who gave his life in the fight against drugs in 1985. The Red Ribbon became the symbol to reduce the use of the drugs and violence. Throughout this week, a special focus is placed upon making healthy life choices free of drugs and violence.
Red Ribbon Fact-
An estimated 88,000 people (approximately 62,000 men and 26,000 women) die from alcohol- related causes annually, making alcohol the third leading preventable cause of death in the United States. The first is tobacco, and the second is poor diet and physical inactivity.

The Lyman School has great news for families. We have officially been accepted to give all families free lunch for the remainder of the school year. Any outstanding balances must still be paid. If a student takes extra milk or juice there is still a charge.
The letter will be going home that is attached. This starts on Monday.

We have updated many items in our covid response plan.
The Major updates are --
Gym Use Tiers: We are now having masking for all events in the gymnasium and in the bleachers at the football field.

We apologize for the late notice this morning. Due to being closed last week and having SFS workers coming off of quarantine, there is not school lunch program today.
We will resume normally starting tomorrow, Tuesday, October 6th.
Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

The Lyman school will return to in person learning on Tuesday, October 6th. October 5th will be our regularly scheduled remote learning day.
We have adjusted many guidelines for Remote Learning/ Quarantine process. We will be getting more information out tomorrow, Monday October 5th for that guidance.

School is dismissing at 1:30 pm today.
Football game is still on for this evening against JC/WR. We want people aware their is a significant level of COVID-19 spread in our community. Due to this there is no student section, families must sit together, students are not allowed to free roam at the game. We will encourage seating around the football field. Bring Lawn Chairs and blankets. If you are uncomfortable with coming, please watch through Raiders Live.
