There is a fall Sports Meeting for middle school and high school athletes and their parents/guardians at 7:00 pm in the Raider Gym tomorrow evening, Monday July 26th. This would include football, volleyball, cross country, and cheer.
The Lyman School District still has advertising partnerships available in two amounts.
Founding Partner --Gets static signage at concession stand and many other options with video messaging for 1000 a year for 5 years.
Anchor Partner -- Gets static signage under gym video board and many more options for 2500 a year *including potential gameday promotion/recognition.

High School Class Registration will be August 9th-12th. More information will be posted in the upcoming weeks.
The Lyman Ms/Hs school commons and gyms will be off limits until July 8th while the finishing on the gym floor and the wax on tiles in the commons dry. Please do not try to access gym areas during this time. The Lyman school district wishes you a happy and safe independence day. The Lyman School District is offering a partnership to advertise/sponsor for the upcoming school year. We will be utilizing the Video Board in the gymnasium to do so. The two options are:
Anchor Partner (4 total available): $2,500 a year for 5 years --> This includes:
1) Static signage --one nonbacklit sponsor panel under the video board.
2) Digital Content - Pre-In-Post game logo loop. All sponsors logos to be rotated in a logo loop along with any school announcements or logos. One .30 pre-game sponsor supplied commercial per varsity regular-season home event (we will read a sponsor-supplied message for football games). If you do not want a commercial we can provide a static image and read a prompt for the company. and Two (2) sponsor supplied static advertisements per regular season home varsity event.
3) Promotional Game Sponsorship One (1) game day sponsorship per year. School and sponsor will choose (1) home indoor varsity game per year. Gameday sponsorship could include Additional PA announcements and digital content recognizing the sponsor. Opportunity for a promotional giveaway or contest, Opportunity to promote or distribute specialty items, and on-court recognition.
4) Multimedia/Print/Promotions
Social media recognition TBD and One (1) grouped PA announcement per home varsity event.
The second Sponsorship is the Founding Partner Sponsorship (6 total available) Which is 1000 a year for 5 years.
This includes:

A huge thanks to World Classrooms and our outstanding teacher Amanda Hupp for providing our students the opportunity to experience the DC area. Our students toured several areas including - WWII and Washington Monument, The Tidal Basin: MLK, FDR, & Jefferson Memorials, Arlington National Cemetery, Capitol Hill Tour, George Town, Vietnam, Korean & Lincoln Memorials, Gettysburg Cyclorama & Museum with a Battlefield Tour, Old Town Alexandria, National Harbor Nights, Historic Jamestowne, Colonial Williamsburg, Mount Vernon,

Attention Lyman School Parents and/or Guardians of upcoming 6th grade students: A friendly reminder that South Dakota law requires 6th grade entry immunizations of Tdap and Meningitis. HPV is also highly recommended by the CDC. Please contact your local clinic or provider to get them vaccinated soon. You may also contact the Lyman Community Health office at 869-2217. Thank you
There will be a send-off for the state track qualifiers and state golf qualifiers tomorrow at 10 o’clock on Presho Main Street. Come out and support our youth as they go on to compete with the best of the best! See you there!!

CDL TRAINING! What CDL training for school bus driving at the Lyman School District. We are always looking for bus drivers here at the district, we have decided to bring in a trainer on June 28th to help anyone interested in driving a bus pass the exam/driving portions. A required pre-requisite to training will be an opportunity from LATI that the district pays for. It is online and is a course designed to help you pass the bus driving exam.

Preschool and Kindergarten will have promotion today. Preschool is at 10:00 and Kindergarten will be at 1:00 in the gym.
Wrestling potluck banquet will be tonight at 6:30 in Presho, AAU participants are in charge of main dishes. Middle school and high school is side dish or dessert.
Our last day will be tomorrow with a dismissal at 12:30. Preschool, JK and Kindergarten do NOT need to report to school tomorrow.
On June 9th and 10th there will a basketball camp in Presho free of charge to students
grades 1st- to 6th grade. Registration forms are needed to be filled out and returned.
Still time to purchase your 2020/2021 school yearbooks, bring your $35 to the office
Get all library books checked in; take extra shoes home and get lunch bills taken care of.

Just a reminder that school will be in person tomorrow, Monday, May 17 due to the short week. The last day of school for students is Wednesday May 19. We will dismiss at 1:30 that day.
Lyman Elementary Track and field day is today! 1:30 start time at the Presho track. Parents are free to take their children after the meet is over.
