Good Morning Raider Family, we had a special board meeting last night to discuss limiting gym attendance per SDHSAA recommendation. It was decided to adopt new wording to our Tier system (Which is in our covid response plan. The district will continue in Tier 1 for the time being. This is a Mask mandate in the gym with family seating. Students grades 6-12 can sit in the student section. Children/student ages birth to 5th grade are asked to sit with their parent/guardians (or who took them to game). The district also adopted the new DOH quarantine guidelines for their Covid Response plan. Update on Board Agenda for Monday Evening: There are some misperceptions currently on ticketing in the Lyman school. The district will be meeting Monday to discuss the system we will have in place for the upcoming sports seasons. Currently, there is a mask mandate in our gymnasium for events for the school. We will be discussing moving to tier 2. This would be a ticketing system with 4 tickets per athlete. We would allow students PK-12 into the facility as well. Children not school aged would be allowed in with parents without a ticket. More details to allow for maximum safe attendance will be discussed. Go Raiders!

Covid update: Hey all, I just wanted to update everyone on the current Covid situation in our school we are short a few staff for quarantine purposes and some students are gone currently. As of Friday we had 3 positive cases we were dealing with. Overall student to student and staff to student transmission remains low in our school. We want to thank everyone for the hard work in mitigating the spread of this virus. We appreciate all you do. Remember this is a short week. Tomorrow is the last day of in person classes until Tuesday December 1st. As always go Raiders!

Covid 19 update. Good morning Lyman family. An update on where we are with Covid in our district. We have a handful of positive cases that have caused some quarantines. We currently are missing some staff members that are quarantined and students as well.
