Come support the Lyman JAG students at our Service Project event on Sun. Dec. 15 at the Kennebec Fire Hall 6-8pm. Soup, Santa, Sleigh Rides, and Bingo for Gift Certificates (Bring Non-perishable food item or Gently Used Winter Clothing to recieve a bingo card). Free will donations will go to charity!! Elementary Christmas Concert 2024 Merry Christmas to all!!!!
Lyman Parents: Please note that the Elementary Concert is complete and busses headed towards their respective routes. Both Lyman Elementary and MS/HS students have been dismissed and bus riders will be arriving at their drop off locations around 45-50 minutes earlier than their normal times.

SPECIAL EDUCATION AIDE - LYMAN MS/HS SCHOOL
Lyman MS/HS is looking forward to expanding our team with a Special Education Aide to offer support for our kids in that program. The district is searching for a person who is compassionate and dedicated to the well-being of our students. Some of the duties include: Supporting specific students with needs on a 1-to-1 basis; supporting teachers and students in the classroom; Working with students to help them understand and providing extra support and instruction; Supervising activities in the school; Working with staff to ensure all duties are covered; Communicating daily with immediate coworkers.

We finished off Native American Heritage month with a delicious fry bread snack yesterday!! Thank you to Mrs. Reuman and Miss Carmen for making it! We all enjoyed learning about different traditions throughout the month and look forward to more!
REMINDER! There will be a Parent-Athlete-Coach (PAC) Meeting at 6 PM CST in the Lyman Gardens on Monday Dec. 2nd. This meeting is for parents and athletes who are participating in a High School winter sport (Wrestling, Girls BB, Boys BB, eSports). We will meet in the Gardens and then break off into our respective winter sports. Thank you and I would also like to wish all of you a Happy Thanksgiving! Go Raiders!

REMINDER: Tomorrow - November 13 - the Lyman School District has a scheduled 1:00pm dismissal for Staff Professional Development. Busses will arrive home at approximately the following times: 1PM DISMISSAL:
Kennebec-Presho bus: 1:15pm
Presho-Kennebec: 1:15pm
Lower Brule: West Brule - 1:45 and Community Center - 1:55pm
Reliance: 1:30pm
Vivian: 1:30pm
MS GBB will travel to Ft Pierre today for 3 games starting at 4 pm CST. 6th grade, followed by 7th grade then 8th grade game! Bus leaves at 2:30. Good Luck Raiders!
Lyman Wellness Hours this week: 12noon-9PM this week. We hope to have the access program in place this week. A follow up message will be sent when that is complete to start the membership process.
So far the facility has been busy and use has been steady. As with anything, there are areas we need help with. Please always note the expectations that are listed on the TVs currently in the center. The most important is to return all weights, benches, etc. to their original locations - mostly for safety. Additionally:
1. Please wear workout clothes.
2. Users must wear a dedicated pair of shoes (workout) that are changed into at the wellness center. Shoes must be worn, not socks.
3. Users must wear shirts.
