Today was a busy day in Raider Nation! The Middle School Acalympic Team held their home competition today and placed fourth! A few of our 6th graders participated in a question/answer session for our fifth grade friends that will be joining middle school next year! It was a great day to be a Raider!
REMINDER: SCHEDULE UPDATE - Lyman School District is dismissing at 1PM tomorrow (Thursday, April 30) as staff and students will be aiding with the Cecil Johnson Invitational Track Meet - busses will run at that time so please expect students arriving home earlier that day. The fifth graders got to experience a day in the life of a middle schooler today! Huge thank you to the Presho staff for welcoming them and showing them the ropes, they LOVED it!!
The 7th graders finished their plants unit by inviting the other middle school classes to join them in having a cup of Three Sisters Soup! They spent time germinating and planting bean, corn, and squash seeds while learning about how “the three sisters” support and nurture each other as they grow. They grew some strong seedlings that will hopefully continue to grow and produce hearty vegetables we can harvest through the summer and fall!
Raiders Connect day in April! So grateful for the sunshine that allowed us to enjoy this month's activities outside!
April has been busy! Mrs. Bowers and her Biology students experienced survival of the fittest. Different beak parts are best suited to different environments!
There will be a meeting for all interested in Competitive Cheer this Wednesday after school. This is for all incoming 7-12 graders.
