Cori Jacobson came to visit this week. She brought dental mirrors and teeth cleaning supplies. She spoke with the anatomy students and HOSA kids. She discussed dental careers and education paths! Thanks for visiting!
On Monday, our Middle School students had special guests, Jeshua Estes and friends, from Lower Brule! They taught our students a traditional hand game and chatted with us about the Native Americans traditions and culture! This was an awesome experience for our students!

If you are unable to attend, there is the option to send in a pledge- just reach out to a student or teacher. Our Welder of the Week is Ashten!
Through out the week Ashten has exhibited the skills that would make him an ideal employee in the welding industry.
Quality welds, proper shop clean up, and listening to instructions are just a few of the characteristics Ashton has exhibited.

November is Native American Heritage Month, and today the elementary students got to learn how to play traditional Lakota hand games!! What a fun experience! HUGE HUGE thank you to Jeshua Estes, Anne Whitney, and students from Lower Brule for coming to our school to share this with us. They will be visiting the middle and high schools in the near future. We are very grateful and loved having another opportunity to bring our communities together!
Lyman Elementary Families- We will be hosting our very first read-a-thon next week!!! Be on the lookout for this note coming home. Stapled to the flyer is a page for pledges. Contributors can either send their pledges via the form, or attend our live reading event on Friday, November 14th from 2:30-3:30!!! If more pledge forms are needed, students can get them at school.
