Congrats to our MS/HS ACE award recipients!

If you have a child turning 4 or 5 by September 1st, please bring them in for our preschool/kindergarten screening!!! Current Lyman preschoolers do not need to attend. If you cannot make it on this day, please let us know!! We are SO excited to meet our future Raiders!!

MARK YOUR CALENDAR! Friday (April 10) at 6:00pm! Join the choir and band students as they host a pasta buffet at the high school cafeteria! They will be serving Spaghetti and Chicken Alfredo, bread sticks, salad and dessert for $10. A variety show featuring Lyman's talented students will follow the meal. Come and enjoy great food and great entertainment!

HS Track will now attend the Pierre Meet on MONDAY APRIL 13.
MS Track will have their first meet that day in GREGORY.

The third graders got their turn today to work with a high school student on a state practice assessment. After each group, the high schoolers shared a piece of testing advice with the kids. The impact they had on the elementary students was priceless! HUGE shout out to all these Raiders!!!!

Tomorrow's High School Track meet in Pierre has been POSTPONED. No makeup date has been announced at this time.

Join the Lyman Music Department this Friday for RAIDERS RARITIES - a Variety Show and Pasta Feed fundraiser! Doors open at 6pm for the meal and the show starts at 7pm. $10 entry fee.

April is Autism Acceptance Month and today is Autism Awareness Day! We celebrated today in our bright colors!! #differentnotless #differentminds #differentpowers #everyherobelongs

Look out Nashville! Mrs. Lebeda's middle school General music class is coming for ya! Students are learning to play guitar and they are getting pretty darn good!

Just in time for Easter, baby chicks hatched in Mr. Milton's class, Intro to Agriculture Food and Natural Resources. The fertilized eggs came from Tracy and Anne Comp. They have been in the incubator since March 11th and 21 days later 12 live baby chicks made their appearance! Throughout the 21 days students candle the eggs, maintain the humidity and temperature, and the automatic turner turns the eggs just like a hen would. Always exciting times when the baby chicks hatch!

Today, our Raiders Connect crew teamed up with our fourth grade friends to help them prepare for state testing! The littles were thrilled and we are so incredibly proud of our high school Raiders Connect mentors for taking the time to positively impact our littles!

Congratulations to our AR leaders for the month of March!!! So proud of these hard workers!

MS TRACK UPDATE:
First meet will be MONDAY APRIL 13 in GREGORY. They will NOT be going to Kadoka on THURSDAY APRIL 9.

Some of our high school students were kind enough to work with the fifth graders on some state testing prep! They worked through a practice test together and made sure the kids understood how to navigate and use the tools. All the while, enjoying the beautiful weather! It's a great day to be a Raider!
