WRESTLING TONIGHT! Come out and support our Lyman Raider wrestlers tonight as our wrestling team hosts Groton, Marion-Freeman, and Bennett Co, in a wrestling Quad in the Lyman Gardens. FEB 1st BASKETBALL IN PRESHO! Tomorrow our middle school boy's basketball team will host St. Joe's in the Raider Gym, 3 games starting at 4 pm CT. Also, our JV and Varsity GBB teams will host Highmore-Harrold tomorrow night in the Gardens. JV will start at 6:30 pm CT, followed by the Varsity team. We will also be honoring some of our Lyman School District staff members through Staff Appreciation Night. We will recognize a select group of staff members prior to the start of the Varsity GBB game. Thanks for all you do for our student-athletes! We will also be recognizing Mak Scott for scoring her 100th point this season. Congratulations Mak on an outstanding accomplishment!

SCHEDULE UPDATE! The BBB and GBB teams travel to New Underwood today for a double header! Initially there was not going to be a JV GBB game. We will now play 2 quarters of a GBB JV game. Schedule is as follows: GBB JV (2 quarters) start time 4 PM CT, followed by BBB JV game at approx. 4:30/4:45 PM CT, followed by GBB Varsity at approx. 5:30/5:45 PM CT, followed by BBB Varsity at approx. 7:00/7:15 PM CT. RESCHEDULED TRIANGULAR! The triangular with Lyman, Burke/Gregory, and Wolsey/Wessington/Wessington Springs will be taking place in Burke tomorrow, Jan. 25th start time is 5:30 PM CT. The Lyman District Staff attended a collaborative in-service today in Kadoka sponsored by the Three Rivers Coop. The day began with key note speaker Sean Covel, producer of Napoleon Dynamite and author of children’s books. During breakout sessions, some phenomenal presentations were given by Callie Hills, Brittany Reuman, Nikki Collins, Shayna Perry, and Kylie M Schindler. It was a great day!
