FITNESS TIME! Lyman Wellness Center: Open Thursday, November 7th at 12 Noon until 9:00 pm Open Friday, November 8th at 12 Noon until 9:00 pm Open Saturday November 9th and Sunday November 10th at 7:00 am-9:00 pm NORTH DOORS will be the only doors open to access the Wellness Center at this time. These hours are in effect until further notice and the facility's access controls are installed. MEMBERSHIPS: Information on memberships will be communicated next week. In the meantime, the facility is open for all to use with appropriate supervision. PLEASE: Bring a Change of Shoes for use. Other Rules and Expectations are displayed on TVs in the Wellness Center. What an awesome facility that has been added to the Lyman School District and surrounding areas. Go Raiders!

Several classes held elections today! The third grade students voted on wavy versus thin potato chips. Wavy came out with the win and the kids enjoyed them as a snack!

The elementary is kicking off Native American Heritage Month today! We will spend the month learning Lakota words and history.

Reminder: The 1st OPEN HOUSE for the Lyman Wellness Center is tonight from 6:00-7:30pm. Come see the facility, check out potential membership options and learn how the equipment works. We're excited to see everyone. NOTE - Please enter through the Lyman Gardens Entrance. The road on the north side of the school is currently muddy. Thank you!

We finished October with lots of Halloween fun and our first PBIS party! Every week, classes dump the 3R tickets they earned into large bags displayed in our trophy case. When they fill up a row of bags, they earn a party! Congratulations to our students of the week! Keep up the good work!

Middle School Raider Role Models of the Week! Last week (October 21-25) and this week (October 28-November 1) Way to go!

The middle school decided the pumpkin decorating fun can't end after elementary! Congratulations to the winners!!

Tuesday November 5th Region 5B Volleyball will take place in Gregory SD at the Gregory Auditorium. First match will start at 6:00 pm CST and will be Gregory vs. the winner of Lower Brule and Marty. Lyman vs. Corsica-Stickney will start 20 minutes after the completion of the first match, approximately 8:00 pm CST. Good Luck to our Raider Volleyball Team.

The kids impress us every year during our pumpkin decorating contest with their creativity! They were all fun to see! Congratulations to the winners!

Mrs. Lebeda REALLY knocked it out of the park this time!!!! Everyone did such a great job at the 3-5 fall musical! Outstanding performance, kids!

Gayle Mohr brought her 4H crew to the elementary today to teach the kids about all the different things you can do in the program! The kids rotated through several very fun and engaging stations. Thank you to everyone who pitched in to make this happen!

One of our favorite days of the year.....FIRE STATION VISITS!!!!! The Lyman County fire departments give every student in the elementary the VIP treatment as they teach them about fire safety, show them tools and protective gear, let them spray a fire hose, give them a ride in a fire truck, and load them up with goodies!!! They give the absolute BEST experience a fire department can give!! THANK YOU Lyman County fire fighters!!!!

The elementary wasn't going to let him get away without a picture!! Thanks for all you do to make Lyman schools the BEST!!
