Elementary parents- with the early release on Friday, we are switching our menu JUST in the elementary. Tomorrow will be chicken noodle soup, Friday will be pulled pork sandwiches. Again, we release at 12:30 on Friday. Thanks!
Good morning - The Lyman School District will dismiss early (12:30pm) on Friday, Nov. 3 due to school facilities being utilized for funeral services. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility in handling this change in the school schedule.
Lyman Parents: This correspondence is to inform you that Lyman Elementary and Lyman MS/HS held a lock down drill this afternoon at approximately 1:30pm. This drill was done in cooperation with the Lyman Co. Sheriff's Office and will be done periodically to ensure our schools are prepared for these events should they be required. Have a great weekend.
Financial Aid night on Tuesday, October 24 at 7:00 pm in Ms. Mohr's room at LHS. This meeting is for all seniors and their parents to assist them with scholarship applications and the new FAFSA guidelines. The student council will host a dinner prior to the meeting at 6:30. If you have questions contact the school.
We hope to see everyone at our Pancakes for Pals event tomorrow morning in the elementary cafeteria from 8:15-8:45! Students can invite any pal they wish! :)

RED RIBBON WEEK IS FAST APPROACHING!
From Monday, October 23rd through Friday, October 27th, we will be participating in the campaign of Red Ribbon Week. This week is a national campaign that occurs annually across the United States in the month of October to celebrate being alcohol and drug free and making healthy choices! Please join us in this cause by having your child participate in our dress up days!
Monday – “Red-y to be drug free!” – Wear red!
Tuesday – “It’s crazy to do drugs!” – Wear crazy hair and/or crazy socks!
Wednesday – “My future is too bright to do drugs!” – Wear neon/bright colors!
Thursday – “Team up against drugs!” – Wear any team attire!
Friday – “Put a cap on drugs!” – Wear caps/hats!
