Any MS/HS student that is interested in doing golf this spring, there is a fall interest meeting August 14th at the Medicine Creek Golf Course. Coach Hupp and McClanahan will be there. Meeting starts at 6:30, bring your clubs.
Fall Parent-Athlete-Coach meeting for Football, Volleyball, XC, and Comp Cheer will take place, Tuesday August, 2nd in the Presho Commons/Gardens at 6:30 pm.

Reminder for Athletes: Physicals are needed prior to the start of the season. Athletes will not be able to practice until these are completed. Lyman requires annual physicals. Please get them scheduled with your provider.

SDHSAA Summer Moratorium is July 1st through July 7th. During this time, Lyman Open Gym Facilities will be closed for student use.
With that being said, Lyman will be resurfacing the gym floors (Raider Gym, The Gardens, Kennebec Gym) during that time. Those facilities will closed June 30th-July 25th to allow for the process and setup.
Reminder to Parents and/or Guardians of upcoming 6th Grade Students. South Dakota law requires 6th grade entry of immunizations of Tdap and Meningitis. HPV is also highly recommended by the CDC. To get vaccinated, please contact your local clinic or provider.
State B Golf Update. Jacob sits tied at 40th (+11). He has 6 holes to finish in round 1. The plan is to tee off at 8am MT.
State B Boys game plan as of right now- After round 1 is completed for all golfers, if they are able to continue with the 2nd round they will proceed on.

Best and Brightest of 2022 Recognized for Academic Excellence
The best and brightest from the Class of 2022 were recognized for their academic achievements during their high school career.
On Monday (5/9), Governor Kristi Noem and the Associated School Boards of South Dakota (ASBSD) honored students who were identified as the top one percent of their senior class, from the state’s Public, Private and Tribal/BIE schools as part of the 32nd Annual Academic Excellence Recognition event.
Students designated as their high school’s honoree(s) received a certificate, South Dakota pin and the opportunity to meet and have their photo taken with Governor Noem.
