With the help with a donation from the Medicine Creek area Lions Club, the school district will be starting a weekend food backpack program. The packs will include complimentary snacks and meals to students who may need additional food resources over the weekend. To help get the program a strong foundation we are asking for donations. Items (ex: individual oatmeal packs or cereal, juice boxes, mac & cheese, soup, fruit cups, snack crackers, granola bars, etc.) may be delivered to the Presho school or brought to the home basketball games on the 10th and 15th.
Any help with this initiative will be greatly appreciated!

Updates to the MSBB Schedule:
Winner is moved to Monday Feb 7th with a 4:00 pm start time in Winner.
Crow Creek is added to Monday Feb 14th with a 4:30 start time in Presho.
Tutor Day Information for 2/7
At the middle school and high school- All students 6th-11th are expected to attend as we will use this day for intervention work. We will dismiss at 12:30, like the elementary. Seniors do not have to attend this day.

MSBB in Gregory tomorrow will take place at their high school gym (505 Logan Ave). The A game will play at 4:00pm followed by the B game.
Weekly we have been getting reports on our Math tutoring partnership with YUP in the last two weeks we have had over 80 hours of tutoring take place. These are times that teachers may not be available to help students or students are in study hall asking questions. If you child get stuck on a math problem and is grades 4 or higher, have them log into their yup account and ask the questions. The tutors are good at not giving the answer and walking students through problems. This is a great resource for students that want to work on mathematics. All students grades 4 and higher have login information and have the ability to use the app.
