On Tuesday March 10 the Lyman School District will take a fan bus to Huron for the boys SODAK 16 game against Leola/Frederick. Bus will leave Presho at 4:00 with stops in Kennebec at the elementary and Reliance at the gas station.
Game will start at 7:00. Cost will be $10.00 per person. Elementary will be free and must be accompanied by a adult.
Call the high school office at 605-895-2662 to reserve your seat.
Lets get the bus filled and cheer on our boys for a chance to make it to the state basketball tournament.

For the 3rd year in a row the Lyman Raiders Girls' Basketball Team is State B Tournament Bound! Lyman will play Corsica-Stickney next Thursday (3/12) at 11am in Brookings. This morning, the elementary gathered in the halls to listen to The Foot Book then spent the day working on scavenger hunt. Clues about each staff member were posted throughout the school. The kids (and staff) had a lot of fun!!!

Good morning, Lyman Middle School and High School families!
Tomorrow, Wednesday, March 4, we are hosting the Music Contest in Presho. High School band and choir students need to be the school by 9am. Busses will be running normal in the morning if they need to ride the bus.
Middle School and High School students who have three or more assignments on the ICU list will also need to be in attendance tomorrow. Mrs. Hills and Mrs. Muirhead have been contacting families of those students that need to be here. If you are wondering if your child needs to be here tomorrow, please call the school for clarification. Thanks! 605-895-2662.
If your child is NOT participating in HS band or choir, and does not have work on the ICU list, they do NOT need to be in attendance tomorrow. Elementary students have a regular day of school.

We kicked off our Read Across America Week activities with mystery guest readers today!!!! Thank you to our friends Jamie Griffith, Carmen AKA Big Mama, Senior Conway Collins, and Mr. Long!! The kids loved it!
Along with our Dr. Seuss Week fun, the kids will participate in our annual A's vs B's AR competition and grades 2-5 have begun their March Madness brackets. Take a moment as often as you can to encourage your child to read!!!!
