Again, Lyman Schools will run a 10AM LATE START tomorrow, Feb. 20 due to the Cold Weather Advisory posted and expected temperatures that feel las cold as -35 for the morning hours. We're excited to see the forecast and appreciate your flexibility through this cold stretch. All activities for Thursday are still being held.
The end of the cold is in sight...but due to the Cold Weather Advisory posted for the morning and wind chill temperatures of -25 or lower projected, the Lyman School District with have a 10AM LATE START tomorrow (Wed., Feb. 19).
REMINDER! Just a reminder due to no school and extreme cold temperatures, the MS BBB games vs Chamberlain scheduled for today have been rescheduled to Tuesday Feb 25th at 4 pm.
Out of an abundance of caution, the Lyman School District will be CLOSED tomorrow, February 18th due to the Extreme Cold Warning in effect until 1:00pm for the area.

The Lyman Rocket League team will be playing in Group B today at the South Dakota ESports State Tournament. Their matches start around 12:30 PM. Lyman School District will have a 10am Late Start tomorrow (Feb. 13) due to the Cold Weather Advisory posted from 12am-9am for the area and wind chills forecast for at least -25. Temperature are forecast to increase throughout the day and all scheduled activities will be held.
Just a quick reminder of the schedule for tonight's basketball games in Presho. MS BBB plays Winner tonight in the Raider Aux Gym. Games start at 4 pm CST. There will be 3 MS BBB games. The JV and Varsity BBB teams play tonight in the Gardens vs. KWL. JV starts at 5:15 pm CST and Varsity will follow at approx. 6:15 pm CST. GBB Varsity will also play tonight in the Gardens vs. Gregory, game will start after the boys varsity vs. KWL at approx. 7:30 pm CST. Go Raiders!

Due to the early dismissal today as a result of the poor weather conditions, there will be no MS BBB games in Philip today. Those games are canceled and will not be rescheduled. There will be no Girl's Basketball game tonight vs. Chamberlain, a rescheduled date has yet to be determined. There will be NO PRACTICES after school for all activities.
